These enquiries are designed to preclude activities to include any form of kickbacks, conflicts of interest, or violations of company ethics policy.

This service is appropriate when a newly established relationship / agreement is being considered / established with vendors (suppliers / distributors / agents). It is usually structured into three (3) phases:

1) basic information (which is usually supplied to client) is verified, which usually entails corporate details (Directors pertinent details). Public records are also verified

2) Addresses are physically visited and confirmed (not only to confirm occupancy but to search for related entities). Database searches to include public records, litigation history, media searches and Directorship searches to determine if there are any cross holdings in other entities.

3) Covert visits (usually under a pretext trade approach) are directly undertaken to confirm the activities at the vendor. Sometimes this is also facilitated by the discrete approaches to employees of the target entity.

Other methodologies can be undertaken to identify the true natures of a targeted entity and identify their holdings, products under manufacture, point of manufacture and markets being supplied.
